The muscles of facial animation can create very deep wrinkles over time. Recovery
Besides the short term use of an ice pack, head elevation and no vigorous activity the night of the procedure, there are no activity restrictions thereafter. Some effects of the injection may be seen within 36-48 hours but it will take approximately one week to observe a significant effect on the muscle and possibly several weeks to see the maximum change in the wrinkles relative to that particular treatment.
